The Visitation week runs from Monday through Sunday. Visiting times are different depending when you wish to visit.

Talking on the phone

Inmates at Lenoir County W.E. "Billy" Smith Detention Center will not be able to receive incoming phone calls and the facility will not take messages for the inmates. However, phones are available for inmates to use.

Inmates may make collect, prepaid collect, or prepaid calling card calls from the phones available. Inmates are allowed to talk for 20-minutes. After that, the call will end.

Commissary and Sending Money

Inmates are able to purchase items such as clothes, shoes, hygiene products, books, paper, pencils, stamps, envelopes, MP3 players, headphones, tablets (no internet), snacks, and other items they may want.

In order for an inmate to purchase these items, they must have money on their account. Friends and family can put money on this account.

There are automated kiosks located throughout the Lenoir County W.E. "Billy" Smith Detention Center lobby where you can put money on an inmate’s account 7 days a week. VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and cash are accepted at these machines.

Posting Bonds
