Opened in 1994, the Butte-Silver Bow Detention Center is situated in the City of Butte in Silver Bow County. The exact location is 155 West Quartz Street, Butte, MT. The center operates all year round with a workforce of five civilian staff and 27 detention officers. The detention center is situated in the southwestern part of Montana.
