Those who are sentenced to a federal prison in Wisconsin are overseen and maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC). The Wisconsin DOC has a centralized inmate database which makes it easy to search for an inmate in any prison throughout the state.
Although you can use the database to search for inmates in federal prison, you will not be able to find those in county jails, police jails, or city jails. You will need to go to their individual websites for information.
Below, you will find information about the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, how to search for an inmate, and how to stay in contact.
