The Brazoria County Jail Division is a county correctional facility. This facility is in charge of those individuals who have committed a crime and was arrested. These individuals in this correctional facility will either have been sentenced or are waiting for their trial/sentencing.
Within this facility, you will not find anyone under the age of 18. The juvenile offenders are picked up and brought to a youth facility. This facility is strictly just an adult facility.

First and foremost, you should know that the facility has a prepaid and a postpaid option. As of right now, to find out who they use, you’ll have to contact the facility. You will need to ask about what the options are and use the option that will best suit your needs as you will be the one who has to put money on an inmate’s account to pay for it.
Until then, inmates can call you collect.
Since mid-March, all visitation at the Brazoria County Jail Division has been suspended until further notice. This suspension is due to the Coronavirus pandemic that swept the globe by surprise.
In offenders’ safety in the best interest, the Brazoria County Jail Division upholds their staff and their offenders’ protection. It does not allow anyone on the property that shouldn’t be there.
The visitation will be lifted once it is deemed safe to do so by the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office and other federal health services.
