Staying in contact with a friend or loved one is a great way to show your support. It is also scientifically proven to help inmates to be rehabilitated and stay out of jail in the future.

Although staying in contact with an offender is a great way to help them through this tough time in their life, it is important that only positive friends and family members keep in contact. Therefore, the jail does have strict guidelines on who can keep in touch.

So, if you do not know if an inmate has your number, it is best to write your number on a letter that is mailed to them. Inmates are allowed to make outgoing collect phone calls. This means you will be responsible for the fee.
