How to Send Money to an Inmate

Although all of an inmates basic needs are taken care of by the Greenville County Detention Center, an inmate may still need extra things during their stay. Items such as additional hygiene products, books, envelopes, paper, pens, stamps, tablets (no internet), shoes, clothes, and snacks can be purchased at a store inside of the jail called commissary. In order for inmates to purchase these items, they must have funds in their account.

If you wish to add money to an inmate’s commissary account, you can do this by contacting Commissary at 864-467-2330. You can also go into the Sheriff’s office lobby between 7am to 11pm to add money as well. Or, you can send money online through Access Corrections.
