Visit an Inmate

Before you can schedule a visit, however, you will need to be on the approved visitor list. You can get on this list by having an inmate send you a visitor application or by filling out a visitor application. Approval may take 21 to 45 days as you will need to pass a background check.

Although an inmate receives basic needs from the Montgomery County Center for Adolescent Services, they may need additional items. Within every prison, there is a store specifically for inmates called commissary. Commissary allows inmates to purchase items such as:

  • Snacks
