Visiting
At the moment, Warren County Jail is only allowing for video visitations. While this does not replace in an person visit, it’s currently best for the safety of prisoners and visitors. Warren County Jail users Homewav and allows 1 free visit per week lasting 20 minutes. Video visits after the first one do have a price and are based on visitation hours. Visitation times are based on the first letter of the last name with A-L available for Saturday from 9AM to 2PM and M-Z available Sunday at the same time. Inmates on disciplinary lockdown are allowed only immediate family visits on Saturday mornings. Professional visits from clergy and attorneys are not recorded. All other visits are recorded. No details are provided regarding who many non-free video visits are allowed per week.

Send Money
The Jail website offers some details about how to send an inmate some money for the jail commissary. Money can be deposited through Access Corrections or via a lobby at the jail. The inmates can use money deposited into through account but are nor provided actual cash for the commissary. While no specifics on details about items provided at the commissary are offered on the website, they likely include items like personal hygiene products not provided by the jail and entertainment items like cards.
Rehab
The Warren County Jail does work with the Community Correctional Center to provide rehabilitation to inmates held in Warren County Jail long term. Help is offered on a large variety of issues consistent with being in jail, including chemical dependency, sex offender treatment, and mental health help.
In addition, life skills are taught in ten key areas, including Thinking, Family, Social, Spiritual, Job/School, Financial, Legal, Leisure, Health/Grooming, and Society/Community. The goal is to connect people with the ability to avoid crime and sustain themselves.
Warren County also offers help for non-inmates. Their Help for Addiction Centers has multiple locations and offers assessments for people dealing with substance abuse, followed by counseling and help to end addictions and the potential for crimes that come from addictions.
The jail itself also offers medical and addiction help on staff.
Sheriff
Larry L Sims is the Sheriff of Warren County. He was a corrections officer at Muskingum County Jail in 1978. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Law Enforcement from Muskingum Area Technical College and graduated from the FBI Academy in 2006. He returned to Warren County in 2000 where he has been ever since. He has worked as a special investigator and has worked with child abuse victims.
Major Brett Richardson is the jail administrator. He has held many positions within the justice system including Field Training Officer, and Commander. Within the jail system he has also been a Sargeant, Lieutenant, and now a Major. His entire corrections career has been within the Warren County system.
