When arriving for the visit visitors must bring a photo ID of they’re 18 or older. Visitors also cannot bring in any outside items, including food and drinks. Inmates can have up to two adult visitors and three children visitors at a time.
Visitors also must dress and behave appropriately. Clothing must adequately cover the arms and legs, with sleeves going down to at least halfway to the elbow and skirts and dresses going to at least the midthigh. No clothing affiliated with gangs or depicting anything considered obscene is allowed. Any visitor not dressed appropriately may be asked to leave.
Calling Inmates
Inmates at the Onslow County Detention Center are not allowed to receive phone calls, they can make them though. The people they call can be responsible for paying for the calls when they receive them. Inmates can either pay for calls directly or through a prepaid calling card.

Inmates and their correspondents cannot send certain items through the mail. Any mail that has been altered, such as with perfume or lipstick, is not allowed. Mail also cannot contain stamps or stickers or newspaper clippings. Musical cards are also not allowed.

Deposits can also be made at the Onslow County Detention Center at the TouchPay Kiosk. This method accepts cash and major credit cards. Money deposits are open all day seven days a week and processing can be deposited at your convenience.
