The first thing you want to do when you find out someone has been arrested is an inmate search. This is because bookings in city and county jail can take a little bit of time to complete. Usually processing an inmate can take 2-6 hours after their first phone call. You will not be able to communicate or bail someone out until they are officially on the roster.
