The Midland County Jail in Michigan has a capacity of 274 offenders. The facility has a unique modular design, including the traditional admissions area, trustee pods, pods for exclusively females, work release inmates, medium and maximum security, and direct supervision inmates. Each individual quipped with their exclusive video, visitation kiosk, a classroom, and a rec room indoor and outdoor.

Please note that the Midland County Jail is a part of the Community Corrections. The Community Corrections is a local and state-funded program that falls under Public Act 511. Public Act 511 was founded in 1988 and was started to help low-cost correctional programs be alternatives to prison and jail sentences for those that were cf non-violent crimes.  The program’s main objective was to reduce those who get sent to jail or prison and the communities’ safety within the state.
