The Seminole Correctional Facility houses adult inmates. These inmates are those who are on misdemeanor and felony charges. Inmates have either been charged or waiting to be convicted for their crimes.
The Seminole County Jail is designed to house close to 1,400 offenders comfortably. The Seminole County Jail is expected to have over 15,000 offenders come through their door each year. The amount of long-term inmates they have is far less, but this facility is one of the most populated ones within Central Florida.
The Seminole County Jail offers educational classes, mental health resources, and vocational programs for every inmate who walks through their doors.
Inmate Database
The Seminole County Jail has an inmate lookup tool that is available on the web. You can view this handy tool right here. This tool is updated frequently with the latest up-to-date information. This information is checked to ensure accuracy, but at times there may get minor mistakes. If you come across a mistake, please contact the facility to get this fixed.
Visitation
Vehicle keys and a Photograph I.D. are the lone items which you are allowed to acquire with you during the appearance. Guests under the age of 18 should get accompanied by a parent or watchman. Appropriate attire should get worn during the appearance, any suggestive or garments, see-through textures, shorts, small shirts, and caps may not get worn. Failure to observe these rules or any of the guidelines will result in loss of appearance privileges for the guest.
COVID-19 Update for Visiting
Beginning in March of 2020, we are suspending appearances at the Seminole County Jail. While there are no known cases at the Seminole County Jail, not allowing guest access will help prevent the potential spread of the infection. Inmates will continue to have access to video appearance services. The Seminole County Jail will reinstate appearance after talking with the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County. That date will get announced at a later time.
