Visit an Inmate: In order to visit an inmate, you will need to schedule your visitation online. Unfortunately jail clerks will no longer be able to handle this process. Go to the visitation registration online.

How to Send Money to an Inmate

Although all of an inmates basic needs are taken care of by the New Castle County Jail, an inmate may still need extra things during their stay. Items such as additional hygiene products, books, envelopes, paper, pens, stamps, tablets (no internet), shoes, clothes, and snacks can be purchased at a store inside of the jail called commissary. In order for inmates to purchase these items, they must have funds in their account.
