Find an Offender
Are you looking to search for an inmate in the CDOC? You’ll want to use the Colorado Department of Corrections website. This website is the perfect place to find the inmate you’ve been looking for. The CDOC makes it super easy, you simply go to this website to begin your research. You will need to know their DOCNO, first name, or last name. Knowing the gender of the person you’re looking for is also important.
Send Money to an Offender
This part of the prison search is pretty easy. There are three companies that partner with the CDOC to send an offender money. The three companies are:
- JPAY
- Western Union
- GTL
You can also send money to the inmate in 3 different ways. You can do this online with a credit card, over the phone with your credit card or debit card, you can also pay in person with cash at certain locations. Go to the CDOC website to find the charges to send an inmate money.
Write to an Offender or Call an Offender
If you’d like to write or call an offender, it is possible to do so. After you have done your inmate search, you will have the information you need to communicate with them. You can contact the offender three ways:
- BY USPS Mail
- BY E-Mail
- BY Phone
In order to use any of these three ways of communication, you need to know the name of the offender, the facility, the facility mailing address, and you’ll need to be willing to give a return address.
