Can you Bail an Inmate?

Instead of spending time at Baxter County Jail & Detention Center, offenders can seek temporary freedom from custody if they can raise bail as they await their trials. Bail serves to increase an offender’s chances to appear in court on the set date for their trial. If an offender misses an appearance, the bail money can be forfeited, especially if there is not enough a reason for missing.

If an offender cannot raise bail on account of financial strains, they can hire a bondsman.
