Inmates are able to make outgoing phone calls, but are unable to receive incoming phone calls. All calls are subject to monitoring.
The inmate telephone system at Kenai City Jail, Alaska is contracted with Crown Correctional Telephone, INC. This allows for inmates to make both collect calls as well as prepaid calls.

Inmates who are spending time at the Kenai City Jail will be able to send and receive mail. When sending mail to an inmate, it must have a return address. All mail will be inspected. To send mail, use the following example:

If an inmate is unable to be bonded out or is serving time at the Kenai City Jail, they will be allowed to have visitation. If you wish to visit an inmate, keep the following in mind:
- Visitors must have a valid ID
- Visitors are on a first-come-first-serve basis
- Minors must be escorted by an adult
- No weapons
- No food
- No gifts
Keep in mind that Kenai City Jail does not have commissary. So, no money will be taken for inmates other than for bail.
