All Alaska DOC uses  SECURUS Technologies to help inmates communicate with family members. This company is held by strict standards by the ADOC. You can talk to the inmate 2 ways.

  • ADVANCE Connect: Where you prepay money to have an inmate call you.
  • DIRECT Bill: When an inmate calls and the charges are billed right to SECURUS Correctional Billing Services. Keep in mind that if you choose this route, you do need to have a credit check done.

Calling rates are subject to change, so always double check what the costs are before you begin the process of talking to an inmate over the phone.
