Do an Inmate Search

The booking process and procedures can be time-consuming. Before you can do anything, you will need to know that the person is booked at Morris Jail. You can easily search for an inmate in Morris by using the online database lookup tool, here.

Inmates are able to make collect phone calls to friends and family. However, collect calls cannot be made to cell phones. So, Morris Jail partners with Connect Network to make talking to inmates easier for friends and family.

Visitation

If an inmate is staying for a longer period of time at the Morris Jail, you will be able to schedule visits to see them. You must be 18 or older with a valid form of ID.

If you would like to schedule a visit with an inmate, you can click here or call 205-647-0596. Keep in mind that visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, but you can not schedule more than 7-days in advance.

Please keep in mind that visitation and phone calls are privileges and occasionally an inmate will not be permitted to have these privileges due to disciplinary procedures.
